I wrote "Together We" originally as "Building Tomorrow Today" for a virtual work conference as a theme song. I liked what I came up with and released the original track on the Artist's Prayer EP. I am playing and singing everything you hear on it.

While considering another track to beef up the "Affirmation" single, I considered releasing the remix of "Together We" I created for that work conference, but it was not a great mix. So I set out to remix it, but the files were lost to time. I was able to find them, but they were glitchy so I ended up re-recording most of it.

Along the way, I decided to have fun and make a full on dance mix, similar to what I did with the "We Can B Free (F.U.C.K Dance Mix)". I just played around and had fun. A big thanks to a friend, "Jose" for allowing me to use his voice from a voice mail and to "Karen" the anonymous caller from "Karen Wants a Reservation" for the vocal samples. The graduation speech is me from my June 6,1984 Bloomington Kennedy Senior High School graduation. It is terrifying how those words from over 40 years ago still resonate in 2025. TL;DL means "Too Long; Don't Listen" and is swiped from internet slang. It's really fun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. ...and that bass line...
